Christmas cheer! November is ending, and December is fast approaching; the holiday season! I don’t know about you, but I love watching Christmas movies to get the Christmas spirit pumping. These 25 best Christmas movies to watch will help you countdown to the Holidays!
Watching Christmas movies with the family is one of my favorite this holiday season; snuggle up and enjoy some family time is a must.
From Christmas classics to comedies, I’m sure it will make the whole family merry!
So let’s add some holiday magic with these 25 best Christmas movies to watch this season.
1. The Polar Express. (2004)
On Christmas Eve, a young boy embarks on a magical adventure to the North Pole on the Polar Express while learning about friendship, bravery, and the spirit of Christmas.
2. I’ll Be Home for Christmas. (1998)
A college student faces an impossible journey when he is left stranded in the desert, thousands of miles from home, with no money and only a few days left until Christmas.
3. How The Grinch Stole Christmas (2000)
Grinch lives in solitude just outside Whoville. He hates the townsfolk and despises Christmas. Cindy Lou, a six-year-old girl who believes in the spirit of the festival, sets out to reform him.
4. Jack Frost (1998)
A father who can’t keep his promises dies in a car accident. One year later, he returns as a snowman, who has the final chance to put things right with his son before he is gone forever.
5. While You Were Sleeping (1995)
A hopelessly romantic Chicago Transit Authority token collector is mistaken for the fiancée of a coma patient.
6. Bad Santa (2003)
Rather than spreading good cheer, Willie, a swindler dressed up as Santa, and his elf partner Marcus try to rob a mall. Their motive fails when the thief befriends an eight-year-old boy.

10. The Family Stone (2005)
A traditionalist and uptight businesswoman goes with her boyfriend to his quirky and outgoing family’s yearly Christmas bash and realizes that she is terribly out of place in such an environment.
11. A Charlie Brown Christmas (1965)
Depressed at the commercialism he sees around him, and Charlie Brown tries to find a deeper meaning to Christmas.

I love watching Christmas movies. I have seen a good chunk of these but there are a few that I have yet to watch. My family does a 25-day long Christmas movie marathon each year, so I will have to add in some of the ones we haven’t watched yet into this years marathon to check them out.

What a great list! Thank you for reminding me of some. the favorites in our family are 1,11, 20, 24 and 25. But the ld tradition and the most beloved is one that did not make your list: “It’s a Wonderful Life”. We watch it every Christmas Eve with some eggnog and Christmas cookies.
