Gratitude at the End of the Year
In a world where life is uncertain, it is easy to forget that there are so many reasons to be grateful as the year comes to an end. It is our chance to contemplate and realize how beautiful life still is with the current changes in the world. And to set new milestones and growth and appreciating all the little things that came along in our lives. It is the perfect time to cultivate gratitude at the end of the year, to have hope, and to look ahead.
With a brand new year coming, it is time to stop dwelling on the past mistakes, failures, imperfections, and insecurities because the past is a miserable place to live in, and getting stuck is not living your best life. So, take a step back and see the beauty of who you are, what you have, and what you passionately do, and appreciate the way forward to magical moments. Have faith.
There are so many reasons why you need to express gratitude at the end of the year. It is a moment of thought, an opportunity to be thankful for this life.
For being alive
Waking up each day is a blessing. Being alive is the most precious thing; be grateful every waking moment. How wonderful it is to be able to see another beautiful day.
For family
To have your closest kin in the world and your biggest supporters. They always have your back regardless of any decisions, and they care about you the most.
For friends
Our companions in life. Friends encourage us, laugh and cry with us, believe in us, and inspires us.
For life
For the chance to live and experience everything; then, now, and the time to come. Life is a gift, so do not squander it!
For your parents
Without them, there will be no you. Your loving parents care for you, support you, and love you unconditionally your entire life, and if the going gets tough, they will be there for you without a shadow of a doubt.
For your home
It is a place where you make memories that you can call your own. To have your security, a safe place, brings you comfort, and most importantly, it brings the family together.
For mistakes
Mistakes help you to be better and improve yourself. With so many wrongs we made in our lives, it helps us steer to make the right. We learn from them and grow and make better choices.
For happiness
Happiness brings joy to life, and it helps you soak in the infinite beauty of life.
For laughter
Laughter makes us happy, from a giggle to laughing until your tummy hurts. It makes the world a better place because, without it, the world will be a sad place.
For your good health
To wholly appreciate that we can still do what we want to do and explore and expand our capabilities is a blessing. Because in the end, we are all mortals.
For your heart
For all the love you can give and for pumping blood to your body and keeping you alive.
For your pain
Pain teaches us things we never thought it could. Each of us suffers from pain and hurt, and it helps us transform ourselves, and we become a stronger person. It allows you to break open from all your fears.
For your soulmate
To have your forever person beside you who understands everything you are going through in life and love. Someone who listens to your ramblings day in and day out and to celebrate you and your dreams.
For YOU
Find the light within yourself, for doing the best you can for yourself, others, and for this planet. And for simply being who you are and touching and making a difference in the world.
It is so important to take the time to think and deem about all the little things we come across in life. And to faithfully set sail on the journey to authenticity is to embrace who you are, all the sides of you.
Remind yourself every day of your innate wisdom, your natural strength, and your infinite beauty, and let your gratitude radiate entirely out of you. And most importantly, allow gratitude to pull you from the whirlwind of negativities and let it transform you with a new sense of purpose, meaning, and joy.
Do you practice gratitude at the end of the year to have a fresh and renewed start?
THANK YOU for being a part of my 2020 journey! I am so GRATEFUL for you!

I love this so much. This has been a year that practically breeds negative thoughts. I think it’s more important than ever before that we all really step back and realize that through it all, we still have so much to be thankful for.
